Visiting a farm and learning about farming and environment with Silverdale Normal School students
Today I had a great opportunity to visit a farm with Silverdale Normal School students. The farm was their teacher's Mrs Paterson's dairy farm near Lake Karapiro. The students had the opportunity to see Innovation in action with different machinery used on the farm and were able to get up close and personal with large milking cows. The also could see few days old calves and Mr Patterson explained everything about the feeding the calves.
